The staff was very kind to me and my daughter, who's 10, and gave us great service. The food was flavorful,unique and very well prepared. I had the lemon chicken and my daughter had the beef raviolone. And finished off the night with the lemon mascarpone cake. Yum!
Such a cute little most authentic Italian restaurant! Had the best time by my self! Had the carbonara which I finished!!! That's rare ! The aperol spritz was a delight the service was amazing I would be very happy to go back ! This place is a Must!
Tucked in the back of Creekside Place on Main St. this place is a hidden gem. Authentic Italian dishes, some that you will not find at other restaurants. The owner is very sweet and engaging. Best gnocchi I’ve ever had.
Such a cute, sweet, hidden gem of an authentic Italian restaurant amidst downtown Placerville! The owner was the sweetest lady, sharing all her recommendations and so hard working and down to earth. The food was absolutely amazing and so was the wine! We will definitely be returning whenever we're in the area.
Stumbled across this hidden gem (literally hidden and tucked away in the back of old placer) and found our new favorite Italian restaurant. Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and personable, friendly hosts. Doesn’t get better than this!
The food was Amazing!! It was like I was in Italy again. Simona, the owner, couldn't have been more lovely. The lasagna was one of the best I have ever had. My Son enjoyed the Pasta Amatriciana. (The smoked guanciale was authentic and yummy! i.e. it wasn't American bacon.) The Prosecco was excellent and the tiramisu was divine. Go!! Have dinner at Amore Mio! You'll fall in love.
A quaint spot tucked away in The heart of Placerville with amazing Italian food! The owner is a hands on Chef and she is gracious host. We saw Amore Mio featured on Best Bite in Town on the Food Network, they did not disappoint! The Pope's Lasagna was absolutely delish. Great wine list, attention to detail, and friendly prompt service made for a great experience! Although they did not win Best Bite on the show, (they should have) its a great place to dine. Cozy inside and their patio sits above a creek for us who like dining outdoors.
Wonderful food:) great service. We started with the bruschetta but ate most of it before I remembered to take a pic. The house Italian wine the owner recommended was delicious. I had the cheese ravioli and she did half beef ravioli as well. My son had the ravioli special. It’s the best ravioli I’ve ever had. They also brought two little biscotti with two tiny glasses of port at the end of the meal. Very nice touch:) Wonderful place. I highly recommend.
